Reselling is not the Answer

The timeshare craze has come to an end. For a span of five decades, timeshares have thousands of owners whose only wish is to spend vacation with first class facilities, accommodations, and services. We will forever be thankful to the wonderful memories we have spent on our timeshare properties. It became the suited vacation plan for ourselves and for our family.

It is a sad reality that we have to dispatch out timeshare units due to the failing economic situation. And we just can’t close our eyes while paying for those hefty maintenance fees that controls us. We are being controlled by our timeshare contract and getting out is the just the right thing to do. But the timeshare exit solutions are never easy. It may seem like it is because we already know what ways we could apply.

To get out of timeshare burdens, first, we must get out of the contract. The first option that comes to mind is to resell it. We can either do it individually or with the help of a resale company. If we chose to do it our own way, then we are also responsible with the researches that we need to do in order to give the best value for our unit. This is very crucial since we do want to impress our buyers that what we got are the best deals in the market. We add more perks and gifts to encourage them to buy our units. Updating the right information will eventually help along way.

Asking for the help of resale companies might be of help but risky as well. There are resale companies that merely ask for upfront fees and don’t even bother fulfill their advertisement promises. Many of timeshare owners line up to file complaints against these deceitful companies. we might as well check first the financial background and its current status through Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) list. It is posted on their website for easy reference.  We must remember to never place our bets first but rather wait for the resale company to close the deal with a buyer. Prevention is better than cure, isn’t it?

But even so we already have chosen the reputable resale company that will give us a great deal, still, we can’t just wait for too long to have someone buy our unit. In fact, it won’t really come. We must not forget that the recession likewise influenced potential buyers to set aside their vacation plans as well. And so no matter how resale companies advertise your unit, still, it won’t sell.

To lessen risks and more expenses, we must try the transfer title service. It requires no fees but only a proof that the unit is already paid in full and maintenance fees are updated. Once successful, you will be timeshare free for life. Yes, reselling is certainly not the answer.
